Dala Horse Redesign

Let’s face it, Swedish Fish rule the gummy crowd, likely on a world-wide basis. Haribo bears are probably a close second.

But, if you pressed me on it, I’d vote that the Dala Horse gummy candies are actually my favorite. Whether picked up at IKEA to fuel yet another trip for handy bookcases that I can’t pronounce or ingenious kitchen devices that I can’t live without, or fueling me through yet another trade show, the Dala Horse gets my thumbs up.

What bothers me is that the Dala Horse packaging has never quite lived up to the candy within, so here is my design exploration for a Dala Horse candy update. Enjoy it with a red Dala Horse if you can!
